Abstract:
An RFIC element (14) includes a capacitance thereinside, and an LC resonance circuit is configured by the capacitance and an inductance of a loop conductor (11). When high frequency power in the UHF band is supplied from the RFIC element (14) to the loop conductor (11), due to the current (IL) flowing through the loop conductor (11), the loop conductor (11) and a planar conductor (12) are electromagnetically coupled and an inductive current (IA) flows in the planar conductor (12). Because the inductive current (IA) transmits through the planar conductor (12), the planar conductor (12) functions as a radiation element. It is preferable that the size of the planar conductor (12) in the longitudinal direction is a half-wavelength of the used frequency band. Thereby, the planar conductor (12) functions as a half-wavelength radiation element.
