An antenna system for a mobile terminal, and a mobile terminal. The antenna system comprises a first antenna group, a second antenna group and a third antenna group which are distributed on the housing; the first antenna group comprises several first antennas, the second antenna group comprises several second antennas, and the third antenna group comprises several third antennas, the operating frequency band of the first antenna being a 4G frequency band, the operating frequency band of the second antenna being a Sub 6G frequency band, and the operating frequency band of the third antenna being a 5G millimeter wave frequency band. The antenna system of the present invention enables implementation of both 4G and 5G mobile communications of a mobile terminal using the antenna system, and provides various signal transmission modes, improving the signal transmission efficiency.
