This non-contact communication system performs non-contact communication between an apparatus including a first chip, and an apparatus including a second chip. The first chip is provided with a transmitting circuit and a transmitting antenna. The transmitting circuit converts parallel data into differential signals. The transmitting antenna transmits the differential signals to the second chip. The second chip is provided with a receiving antenna and a receiving circuit. The receiving antenna receives the differential signals from the transmitting antenna. The receiving circuit converts the differential signals into the parallel data. Each of the transmitting antenna and the receiving antenna includes at least two antenna elements, a first connecting end, a second connecting end, a first branch section, and a second branch section. Each of the antenna elements is formed of wiring on each chip. The first connecting end and the second connecting end are connected to each circuit on each chip. The first branch section couples one end of one antenna element and one end of the other antenna element to each other, and connects the ends to the first connecting end. The second branch section couples the other ends of the respective antenna elements to each other, and connects the ends to the second connecting end.
