Abstract:
The present invention can shrink the entire size of a dual reflector antenna, and increase AG (Antenna Gain). The described technical effects can be achieved by an antenna comprising a major reflecting plate and a minor reflecting plate which have asymmetrical curved surfaces and two planes symmetrical at an intersection point where a longitudinal z-axis is located. A feed is disposed between the major reflecting plate and the minor reflecting plate, and first radiates the minor reflecting plate and then the major reflecting plate therethrough to form a plane wave front. The focal point shared by the asymmetrical curved surfaces of the major reflecting plate and minor reflecting plate for all cross-sections penetrating the longitudinal z-axis is located on Zo, which is a part of the longitudinal z-axis,wherein the minor reflecting plate has a convex shape toward the major reflecting plate on the longitudinal axis, the generatrix of the asymmetrical curved surface of the minor reflecting plate can be defined by the following spherical coordinates r (θ, φ ), and satisfies F (I) {Pm (θ, φ) is a polynomial expression of order m, and θ and φ are angles of the spherical coordinates}, and the correlation 0.24 < I < 0.35 ( I = H/Dmax, H - the maximum size of an antenna along the longitudinal axis, Dmax - the maximum cross section of the aperture of the major reflecting plate).
