Abstract:
Disclosed in the present specification is an anti-aging composition containing, as an active ingredient, an Aster L. plant extract, a fraction thereof or a compound isolated therefrom. The composition prevents, delays or alleviates skin changes due to aging. In addition, the composition inhibits the expression or activity of collagenases or promotes the expression or activity of collagen, thereby preventing or alleviating skin wrinkles and promoting skin elasticity.
