An anti-calcification electric iron, comprising an iron body (1), and a base (2) mounted on the lower side of the iron body 1. A water tank (3) is provided in the iron body (1); a steam chamber (21) is provided in the base (2); a water outlet (31) located on the lower side of the water tank (3) is communicated with the steam chamber (21); an anti-calcification box (4) is detachably embedded in a water filling inlet (11) of the iron body (1); a filter screen (41) on the anti-calcification box (4) is located in the water tank (3); after entering the anti-calcification box (4), water can flow into the water tank (3) by means of the filter screen (41). By providing the anti-calcification box, after a user fills water into the water filling inlet, water enters the anti-calcification box firstly for calcium removal treatment, and then flows out of the filter screen on the anti-calcification box and enters the water tank, thereby solving the problem that ordinary water affects the service life of a steam spray type electric iron; moreover, because the anti-calcification box is detachably mounted in the water filling inlet, the anti-calcification box can be conveniently detached when the calcium removal effect becomes poor or the anti-calcification box is damaged due to the fact that the anti-calcification box is used for a long time.
