Abstract:
An anti-counterfeit method employing hand-tearing of a textured portion and a product and material thereof. A fancy yarn (5) is embedded in a printed matter (3) and a substrate. The fancy yarn (5) and a characteristic element (10) thereof are compressed to be shaped into a flat textured string (9). Characteristic feature information of the flat textured string (9) is collected and stored as a texture information file in an anti-counterfeit verification system database. Accordingly, the shortcoming of having to use a needle to pick out a fiber (textured portion) is overcome, and the goal of examining a textured portion by hand is achieved. The general public can conveniently distinguish between genuine and counterfeit textured portions by hand, and can avoid the inconvenience of requiring a needle to pick out a textured portion in anti-counterfeit practice. The production of paper having a textured portion is simplified, and residual fibers thereof are prevented from contaminating a workshop environment where common white paper is produced.
