An anti-elevator fall apparatus, comprising at least two sets of buffer coils (2), a plurality of lasers (1), at least one laser detector, magnetic field generating coils (3) arranged at the top and bottom of every floor, a speed sensor, and an elevator fall power supply. The at least two sets of buffer coils (2) are arranged at the upper and lower ends and the middle of a car (5), the plurality of lasers (1) are mounted on an inside wall of an elevator shaft, the at least one laser detector is mounted on the car (5) and arranged relative to the lasers (1), the elevator fall power supply is electrically connected to the magnetic field generating coils (3) and the buffer coils (2), and the speed sensor is electrically connected to the laser detector and used for calculating the descent speed of the car (5). When the descent speed is greater than a maximum stable speed, the elevator fall power supply is turned on, and the magnetic field generating coils (3) generate an upward magnetic field which interacts with a downward magnetic field of the buffer coils (2), so as to decelerate the car (5). The anti-elevator fall apparatus effectively detects falling of the car (5), and executes the corresponding deceleration operation, thereby ensuring the safety of the car (5). The present invention has high practicality.
