Abstract:
A zwitterionic polymer hydrogel electrolyte, a supercapacitor containing the electrolyte, and a preparation method for the supercapacitor. The electrolyte is a polySH electrolyte, and is a poly(SBMA-HEA) electrolyte binding with LiCl. The supercapacitor contains the zwitterionic polymer hydrogel electrolyte. Change in the capacitance retention of the supercapacitor at extreme temperatures is less than 25% relative to the area specific capacitance thereof at 25°C. For example, if the temperature increases to 60°C or reduces to -30°C, the area specific capacitance changes to 178mF cm-2 and 134mF cm-2, respectively, being approximately 104% and 78% of the area specific capacitance at 25°C. Such changes indicate favorable electrochemical performance at extreme temperatures.
