Abstract:
The present invention relates to an anti-obesity composition comprising a Rosa davurica extract as an active ingredient. An anti-obesity composition of the present invention exhibits excellent an anti-oxidant effect, effectively inhibits α-amylase and pancreatic lipase, inhibits preadipocyte differentiation, and reduces blood cholesterol and triglycerides, and thus has excellent effects in the treatment and prevention of obesity. In addition, an anti-obesity composition of the present invention contains, as a raw material, a Rosa davurica extract, which is a natural plant material, so as to be very safe and have excellent stability, and thus can be effectively used for anti-obesity purposes related to obesity treatment and prevention in the fields of foods and pharmaceuticals.
