Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an anti-reverse movement device for a wheelchair, the device enabling the prevention of large wheels of a wheelchair from slipping or moving backwards on a ramp. To this end, an anti-reverse movement device for a wheelchair is disclosed that has a structure whereby a brake force is naturally released during the forward movement of large wheels of a wheelchair when the wheelchair is moving on a ramp so as to not hinder the rolling thereof, and conversely, the large wheels of the wheelchair are automatically braked only during the backward movement thereof, thereby preventing the wheelchair from slipping or moving backwards when the wheelchair is parked on the ramp or starts to move on the ramp.
