Abstract:
Provided is an anti-toppling device with which falling during installation etc. can be prevented. This anti-toppling device is provided with a damper (10), a pair of base portions (30A, 30B), and a fall prevention portion (50). The damper (10) is mounted between the top surface of a piece of furniture (F) and a ceiling (C). The rear surface of the piece of furniture (F) faces a wall surface (W). The base portions (30A, 30B) are connected to the end portions of the damper (10). The first base portion (30A) is in contact with the top surface of the piece of furniture (F), and the second base portion (30B) is in contact with the ceiling (C). The fall prevention portion (50) has a connecting portion (51) and a hanging portion (53). One end of the connecting portion (51) is connected to the first base portion (30A). The connecting portion (51) extends such that the other end is located further outside than an outer edge of the first base portion (30A). The hanging portion (53) hangs from the other end of the connecting portion (51) and is disposed between the wall surface (W) and the rear surface of the piece of furniture (F).
