Title:
ANTI-VIBRATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/120992
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An anti-vibration device comprising: a tube (1); a core member (2) placed toward one side of the center axis line of the tube (1) and disposed concentrically with the tube (1); and a rubber assembly (3) connected to the core member (2) across the entire internal peripheral surface of the tube (1), the external surface of the rubber assembly (3) being formed in a frustum shape that is convex toward the core member (2) within a longitudinal cross section that includes the axis line of the rubber assembly, axial input vibrations from a member on the vibration-generating side being primarily absorbed by the shearing deformation of the rubber assembly (3), and the input vibrations being prevented from being transmitted to a member on the vibration-transmitted side. The rubber assembly (3) is configured by integrally fastening two types of elastic rubber elements (3a), (3b) to each other in the circumferential direction of the tube (1), the elastic elements having mutually different rubber hardness levels.
