Abstract:
In order to reduce the weight and size of a torque rod as much as possible, the torque rod is configured from a rod main body (10), a first bushing (15), and a second bushing (17). The rod main body (10) is made of resin and includes an integrated first ring part (14) and second ring part (16) that are provided to either end of an arm part (12). A first rib (21) is provided continuously from the arm part (12) to the front of the side surface of the second ring part (16). A second rib (22) is stacked above the first rib (21) in plane view. The first rib (21) projects beyond the second rib (22) in the front, left, and right directions, and the part that projects forms an enlarged diameter part (46). The enlarged diameter part (46) causes the surface area of the first rib (21) to be larger than that of the second rib (22) so as to impart a high rigidity to the front side of the second ring part (16). Also, the decreased surface area of the second rib (22) enables the size of the torque rod to be reduced, and the increased number of lightening spaces caused by forming of a plurality of ribs enables the weight of the torque rod to be reduced.
