Abstract:
Provided is a spinal cage comprising a first member and a second member, said spinal cage being characterized in that the body of the spinal cage includes the second member, the first member coats at least a portion of the body of the spinal cage, at least the surface of the first member includes an antibacterial metal, at least the surface of the second member is nobler than the first member, an electric circuit is formed between the first member and the second member when the spinal cage is used by being implanted in vivo, ions of the antibacterial metal are eluted from the first member in the presence of an electrolyte, and the surface and/or periphery of the first member is antibacterial.
