Abstract:
An antibacterial substratum comprising a substratum and, provided on a surface
thereof, multiple antibacterial metal islands. The multiple antibacterial
metal islands are in contact with ambient atmosphere. The average value of contact
angles exhibited by the substratum and the multiple antibacterial metal islands,
as determined on the basis of surface observation results by scanning electron
micrograph, is 90 degrees or less.
