Abstract:
An anticorrosive for a boiler which comprises an amine compound represented by general formula (1), and an anticorrosive for a boiler which comprises a deoxidizing agent together with an amine compound represented by general formula (1):
NH2-(CH2)m-O-(CH2)n-OH (1)
wherein m and n independently represent each an integer of 1-3.
The anticorrosive is to be used mainly in a boiler provided with a superheater or a steam turbine or a boiler of the aforesaid type which is mixed with treated water. In such a boiler, the anticorrosive can more efficiently maintain the pH of the boiler water and thus prevent not only the corrosion of a boiler can but also the corrosion of the entire boiler system including feed water (condensed water), without a need for adding a large amount of a phosphate or increasing the molar ratio Na/PO4 to 3 or greater.
