Abstract:
The present invention provides an antifogging device for a vehicle, and a vehicle, wherein the electrical consumption of the antifogging device can be controlled. This antifogging device (2) for a vehicle is provided with a vacuum pump (8) and a dehumidifying desiccant device (10) communicating with the vacuum pump. A first opening and closing valve (71) is provided between the vacuum pump and a first exhaust port of the dehumidifying desiccant device. A second opening and closing valve (72) is provided between a vehicle compartment (78) and a second exhaust port of the dehumidifying desiccant device. A third opening and closing valve (73) is provided between the vehicle compartment and an intake port of the dehumidifying desiccant device. Dehumidified dry air is returned back to the vehicle compartment by closing the first opening and closing valve and opening the second and third opening and closing valves. Meanwhile, moisture adsorbed on the dehumidifying desiccant device is removed from the dehumidifying desiccant device by opening the first opening and closing valve and closing the second and third opening and closing valves.
