Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an antifouling coating composition from which an antifouling coating film can be formed which can exhibit excellent antifouling performance even in sea areas with high fouling loads due to animal species such as barnacles, has excellent slime resistance, and is less likely to suffer from cracks. The purpose of the present invention is also to provide an antifouling coating film using the antifouling coating composition, a substrate with the antifouling coating film and a method for producing the same, and an antifouling method. This antifouling coating composition is characterized by comprising a polyorganosiloxane block-containing hydrolyzable copolymer (A) and medetomidine (B), wherein the polyorganosiloxane block-containing hydrolyzable copolymer (A) has (i) constitutional units derived from a hydrolyzable group-containing monomer (a1) and (ii) constitutional units derived from a polyorganosiloxane block-containing monomer (a2).
