Abstract:
Provided is an antifouling coating composition which is an antifouling coating material of the composite binder type and which, despite this, is greatly prevented from developing bubble marks or pinholes and gives coating films with a satisfactory appearance and free from abnormalities such as cracks. The present invention provides an antifouling coating composition comprising a polymer A, a polymer B, an ingredient C, and an ingredient D, wherein the polymer A is a copolymer of a monomer (a) with an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (b) which is not the monomer (a), the monomer (a) being represented by general formula (1), the polymer B is a polymer obtained by polymerizing the monomer (b), the ingredient (C) is a paraffinic hydrocarbon solvent and/or a naphthenic hydrocarbon solvent, and the ingredient D is an organic solvent other than the ingredient C, the mass proportion of the ingredient C, ingredient C/(ingredient C + ingredient D), being 0.05-0.50.
