Abstract:
The invention pertains to substances used for protecting the underwater sections of vessels and marine installations from corrosion and fouling and takes the form of an antifouling coating comprising an undercoat applied to the base and an outer porous layer containing copper. The undercoat is based on aluminium and the outer layer in addition contains zinc (77-83 wt.%).
