Abstract:

An antifouling structure according to the present invention is provided with an antifouling liquid and a microporous layer, and retains the antifouling liquid on a surface and in the inside of the microporous layer. The antifouling liquid is hydrocarbon-based oil or silicone-based oil. The microporous layer has a liquid retention part on a surface side thereof and has in the inside thereof a liquid extrusion part having lower affinity with the antifouling liquid than the liquid retention part. The liquid retention part has a film thickness of 1/100 to 1/50 the film thickness of the liquid extrusion part. The antifouling structure achieves both the ability to supply the antifouling liquid to the surface of the antifouling structure and antifouling liquid retention performance, making it possible to form on the surface thereof an antifouling film having self-repairing performance over a long period of time.
