Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an antimicrobial agent having reduced allergy properties and containing recombinant psLAAO, and a method for producing this antimicrobial agent. This purpose is solved by an antimicrobial agent containing recombinant starry flounder (Platichthys stellatus) L-amino acid oxidase (psLAAO) and which is endotoxin-free, and specifically an antimicrobial agent having reduced human sensitivity and represented by at least one selected from the group consisting of (1) and (2) as follows: (1) an effective concentration (EC200) of cell surface marker CD54 expression in a human monocytic leukemia cell line (THP-1) of at least 0.35 μg/mL, and (2) an effective concentration (EC150) of cell surface marker CD86 expression in a human monocytic leukemia cell line (THP-1) of at least 4.1 μg/mL.
