Abstract:
Provided is an antimicrobial water treatment agent of polyethylene containing silver zeolite, which is, among other qualities, very safe. The agent is characterized in that: the silver zeolite has a Type A crystal structure; the content thereof is in the range of 10-60 weight%; and the agent is a porous substance obtained by the formation, from the silver zeolite, of communicating pores on the surface of the antimicrobial water treatment agent and the communicating pores of the porous substance are formed by evaporation of crystalline water contained in the silver zeolite.
