Abstract:
The present invention provides an antioxidant for thermoplastic resins which imparts an excellent oxidation prevention effect to thermoplastic resins and highly prevents discolorations due to nitrogen oxides. Specifically, as the antioxidant for thermoplastic resins, use is made of a compound represented by any of general formulae (2) to (4), in particular, a compound represented by the formula wherein R2 is a C1-8 alkyl group having -CO-O- bonded to the oxygen-atom-side end thereof. Details of general formulae (2) to (4) are in the description.
