Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a mold (100) includes: a step (a) for preparing an aluminum substrate (12) subjected to a mechanical mirror-finishing process; a step (b) for forming a plurality of recesses (12a) in a surface (12s) of the aluminum substrate by spraying a substantially spherical projection material to the surface of the aluminum substrate, the projection material including alumina particles and having an average particle diameter of 10 µm to 40 µm; a step (c) for forming an inorganic-material layer (16) on the surface of the aluminum substrate after the step (b) and forming an aluminum film (18) on the inorganic-material layer, thereby fabricating a mold substrate (10); and, after the step (c), a step for anodizing the surface of the aluminum film, and a step for bringing a porous alumina layer into contact with an etching solution.
