Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing a surface treatment agent that has high hydrophilicity and is superior in antithrombogenicity, and consequently biocompatibility, relative to conventional medical materials. [Solution] The present invention is an antithrombotic material including a (meth)acrylate copolymer comprising a hydrophobic (meth)acrylate and a hydrophilic (meth)acrylate, the hydrophobic (meth)acrylate being a silicone (meth)acrylate and/or an alkyl (meth)acrylate, and the (meth)acrylate copolymer having a residual monomer content of 4,000 ppm or less and a reduced viscosity (ηsp/c) of 0.18-3.00 dL/g, being water insoluble, and being a viscous liquid at room temperature.
