Abstract:
An antitumor agent, a medicine, which is useful for the treatment or prevention of digestive cancer, leukemia, pituitary tumor, small-cell lung cancer, thyroid cancer, and neuroastrocytic tumor. The antitumor agent contains as an active ingredient either a 1,5-benzodiazepine derivative represented by the general formula (1): (wherein R1 represents C1-6 alkyl; R2 represents phenyl or cyclohexyl; and Y represents a single bond or C1-4 alkylene) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
