Abstract:
Provided are: an antitussive for pertussis that comprises a bradykinin B2 receptor antagonist or a transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1) antagonist as an active ingredient; and a method for screening an antitussive for pertussis, said method comprising a step for selecting a substance that inhibits the activity of a bradykinin B2 receptor or TRPV1.
