The present invention relates to an antiviral composition comprising a cottonseed extract, and a preparation method therefor. A fermented material of the cottonseed extract exhibits antiviral activity and virus-neutralizing activity, and thus can be effectively provided for antiviral and virus-neutralizing uses.
