Title:
ANTIVIRAL FIBER MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/199420
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This antiviral fiber material exhibits antiviral properties against viruses of various types. The surface of this fiber material retains at least aluminum-doped zinc oxide particles (Al-ZnO particles). Further, it is preferable that particles of silver-retaining zeolite (Ag zeolite particles) be retained. The Al-ZnO particles and the Ag zeolite particles are retained on the surface of the fiber material with a silicone film interposed therebetween. The silicone film is formed from silicone which has polyoxyethylene alkyl ethers of 12-15 carbon atoms as the main component and has a siloxane backbone.
