Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of optical communications. Disclosed is an AOC optical module connection inspection method and device. An AOC optical module comprises an active optical cable (AOC), and a first end optical module and a second end optical module that are connected by the AOC. Display lamps are provided in both the first end optical module and the second end optical module. Optical power is sent to the first end optical module according to a preset manner, and the second end optical module records a reported value of received optical power; after the first end optical module sends the optical power, the display lamp in the first end optical module performs light-on indication according to a target frequency of a target detection mode corresponding to the variation law of sent optical power; and when the second end optical module detects that the variation law of the received optical power satisfies the target detection mode, the display lamp in the second end optical module performs light-on indication according to the target frequency. In the present invention, positioning of modules on two ends of the AOC and detection of the connection state of the AOC optical module are achieved without adding a hardware circuit, so that the cost is low, implementation is simple and convenient, and transmission service is not affected.
