Abstract:
The present invention is provided with a detection unit 14 for detecting a state of apnea in a user on the basis of a correlation between acceleration information measured by an acceleration sensor 11 for detecting movement of a body as an acceleration, angular velocity information measured by an angular velocity sensor 12 for detecting movement of the body as an angular velocity, and heart sound information of the user detected by a heart sound sensor 13, and the present invention is configured so that a state of apnea is determined to exist only when the acceleration measured by the acceleration sensor 11 as well as the angular velocity measured by the angular velocity sensor 12 are both simultaneously equal to or less than a threshold value, and the heart rate specified from the heart sound is greater than a predetermined heart rate. Apnea during sleep can thereby be more accurately detected.
