Abstract:
An apparatus for assisting muscular strength of an upper arm is provided. An apparatus for assisting muscular strength of an upper arm, according to one embodiment of the present invention, may comprise: a lumbar support part that extends from the waist to the shoulder in the longitudinal direction of the spine and is fixed to the back; an upper arm support part that extends along the upper arm, is disposed on the outside of the upper arm, and has one end including an upper arm support which pivots about an axis of rotation perpendicular to the outer surface of the shoulder; an elastic part having one side coupled to the shoulder side end of the upper arm support part and providing a restoring force in a direction opposite to the rotation direction of the upper arm support part; and a connection part having one end coupled to the other side of the elastic part and extending in such a manner that the other end thereof is coupled to the upper end of the lumbar support part.
