Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for cleaning a filter of a ceiling-type air conditioner, which sprays cleaning water while rotating a nozzle part to clean filters arranged in a rectangular shape of the ceiling-type air conditioner. A cleaning part (10) provided with the nozzle part (30) is mounted on a gear wheel (13) and rotated, wherein the gear wheel (13) is rotatably disposed on a support part (12) formed on a base plate (11) and is rotated by a driving means. The cleaning part (10) includes a reciprocating means (20) for reciprocating the nozzle part. The reciprocating means (20) is formed in a rectangular shape corresponding to the ceiling-type filters arranged in a rectangular shape, and reciprocates the cleaning part (10) back and forth in a radially outward direction of the gear wheel (13) in cooperation with the outer contour of a base plate (11) having rounded corners corresponding to the corner portions where the filter are disposed. Accordingly, the nozzle part for spraying the cleaning water for cleaning the filters is mounted on the gear wheel and reciprocates back and forth with respect to the filters while being reciprocally rotated, so that the nozzle part advances more at a filter portion at the corners than at a filter portion at the front, thereby increasing a spraying pressure of the cleaning water sprayed by the nozzle part. As such, it is possible to achieve a clean filter cleaning effect for the entire filter including the corner portions. The apparatus for cleaning a filter can be lifted and lowered by means of a collapsible elevating unit in correspondence with the height of a ceiling and can be housed in a housing for storage and transportation, thereby making it possible to perform movement, storage, and operation more efficiently and simply.
