Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a chemical processing unit comprising a chemical processing vessel containing an apparatus which is controlled by a closed loop hydraulic motor. Both the apparatus and the hydraulic motor are disposed inside the chemical processing vessel. Also disclosed is a process of conducting a chemical reaction inside the present chemical processing unit while simultaneously operating the apparatus by way of the closed loop hydraulic motor. The apparatus is preferably a scraper suitable for removing solids buildup from inside the chemical processing vessel.
