Title:
APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING BATTERY POWER IN ACCORDANCE WITH A WORK MODE IN A HYBRID INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/078574
Kind Code:
A2
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling battery power in accordance with a work mode in a hybrid industrial vehicle which uses, as a power source, a battery and an ultracapacitor. For this purpose, the apparatus for controlling battery power in accordance with a work mode in a hybrid industrial vehicle comprises: a power supply unit which includes a battery and an ultracapacitor, and which provides electric power; and a control unit which controls the battery output using a preset battery output control value in accordance with a work mode selected when an initial work mode is selected, sets, as a battery target control value, a battery output control value corresponding to a changed work mode when the work mode is changed, and controls a battery output, corrects the current average work load value by a preset load value when the voltage value of the ultracapacitor exceeds a preset allowable voltage range, and controls the voltage of the ultracapacitor such that the voltage of the ultracapacitor falls within the allowable voltage range, and controls the battery output using the corrected work load value as a target control value of the battery.
