Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling an output voltage for a single-type converter, and a method therefor. The apparatus for controlling an output voltage for a single-type converter according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: power input/output units that are respectively connected to both poles of the single-type converter in parallel so as to respectively receive and output an output voltage; an output voltage and current measurement unit that measures output voltages and output currents output from the power input/output units; a control unit that checks the state of a first pole of both poles of the single-type converter using the measured output current, that controls to limit the current for the first pole for a protection coordination, and that controls the voltage for the second pole; a switch unit that is switched according to a control that is performed on both poles; and a power transmission unit that transmits the output voltage of the single-type converter according to the switching of the switch unit.
