Abstract:
An apparatus for controlling the regenerative braking of an electric vehicle which is capable of being traveled by operating an electric motor with electric energy supplied from an electric energy supply source mounted on a vehicle. In this apparatus a control means (7) is formed so as to control a regenerative braking force of an electric motor (2) in accordance with the condition of gradient detected by a gradient detecting means (28), whereby the driveability and traveling performance of an electric vehicle can be improved.
