Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for cutting a bead on the inner surface of an electric-resistance-welded steel pipe that can cut an inner surface bead in an electric-resistance-welded steel pipe without causing spatter roll-overs on the inner surface. The apparatus comprises: an inner surface cutting mandrel (6) for cutting an inner bead (5) that is generated in an electric-resistance-welded steel pipe manufacturing process, and which is inserted into the interior of the steel pipe near a welding point; and a spatter guide (14) that guides spatters (3) coming in from the welding point to the downstream side of a lower rolling ball (8) of the inner surface cutting mandrel (6), and which is provided in a protruding state on the periphery of the inner surface cutting mandrel (6). Preferably, a scraper (15) should be provided so as to guide spatters falling into the interior of the steel pipe to areas where the lower rolling ball (8) will not roll over. This prevents the lower rolling ball (8) from rolling over spatters in the inner surface. The scraper can be in the shape of a plate or comprise a resin block.
