Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for cutting, on a ship block, a plate-shaped scaffolding piece, one side of which has a joint hole penetrating therethrough, wherein the apparatus comprises: a main frame in which a sliding rail is arranged in the lengthwise direction; a clamping unit to which the main frame is connected when the clamping unit is fixed at a scaffolding piece, wherein the clamping unit moves the main frame vertically with respect to the lengthwise direction of a sliding rail to adjust the vertical position of the main frame; and a cutting unit, which is slidably mounted on the sliding rail, and has a cutter blade which slides along the sliding rail and rotates at a high speed to cut the scaffolding piece welded to the ship block. The above-described apparatus for cutting a scaffolding piece for ship building is configured such that a worker may push or pull the cutting unit on the main frame in order to slide the cutting unit when the main frame, in which the cutting unit is slidably installed, is fixed at the scaffolding piece by a clamping unit. Accordingly, the cutter blade of the cutting unit moves vertically and linearly so as to cut the scaffolding piece welded to the ship block in an accurate and easy manner.
