Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for defrosting an evaporator in a cooling device, the apparatus comprising: 1) a frost sensor (50) configured to receive a frost sensing signal transmitted from an output unit of a control processor (60), and then to transmit the frost sensing signal by emitting and reflecting infrared light to an input unit of the control processor (60); 2) the control processor (60) configured to transmit a display signal to a signal display unit (62) and an operation signal to a defroster (70) if the frost sensing signal exceeds a frost sensitivity threshold from the frost sensor (50) which has been set by a signal setting unit (61) in the control processor (60), after converting the inputted frost sensing signal to a digital signal in a signal converting unit; and 3) the defroster (70) configured to operate according to the signals received from the control processor (60).
