Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for detecting in simple fashion an abnormal power generation condition of a solar cell panel of a solar cell power generation system having a power generation capacity of at least 1 MW. An apparatus for detecting abnormality of a solar cell power generation system has a plurality of solar cell strings wherein a plurality of solar cell modules are connected in series, and backflow prevention diodes are connected at the respective power output terminals of said solar cell strings. There is included measurement means for measuring the current flowing in said backflow prevention diodes, and said measurement means is supplied with power from both terminals of said backflow prevention diodes.
