Abstract:
Apparatus (129) for drying by means of a hot gas, preferably superheated steam, which comprises means for circulating (34, 40) and means for heating (32) the gas, and also means for separating excess steam, arranged in a process chamber (24). It is proposed that the gas for circulating, heating or separating excess steam is not taken from the process chamber and that the means for heating the gas are arranged below the material being dried.
