Abstract:
An apparatus for drying wood byproducts, of the present invention, comprises: a supply hopper for containing and storing wood byproducts in a pulverized state; an airflow-transferring blower for generating wind pressure so as to airflow-transfer, through a transfer duct, the wood byproducts supplied from the supply hopper; a heating means for applying heat to the wood byproducts so as to dry same which is being airflow-transferred through the transfer duct; a dryer provided on the transfer duct so as to separate and dry the airflow-transferred wood byproducts in a particle state without agglomerating same; a dust collector connected to the transfer duct so as to separate the wood byproducts dried in a particle state through the dryer and airflow-transferred; and a storage tank for containing and storing dried wood byproduct particles separated from the dust collector, wherein the dryer has a plurality of rows of collision pipes at predetermined intervals in a direction intersecting with the airflow-transfer direction of the wood byproducts, so that the wood byproducts collide while being airflow-transferred therein and are separated and dried in a pulverized particle form, and thus the present invention can dry and store the wood byproducts in a pulverized particle form without the wood byproducts sticking to each other because of the moisture in the pulverized wood byproducts. {Representative drawing} Figure 1
