Abstract:
The disclosure provides a system employing a mobile terminal to operate an electronic apparatus. The mobile terminal comprises: a platform-independent graphical user interface (GUI) representation unit, configured to display a state of an electronic apparatus and/or receive a user interaction input for operating the electronic apparatus; a transmitting unit configured to transmit to the electronic apparatus an operation command and/or a query request generated based on the user interaction input; and a receiving unit configured to receive a command execution result and/or an query result. The electronic apparatus comprises a platform-dependent component comprising: a receiving unit configured to receive an operation command and/or a query request; a control unit configured to execute the command and/or perform the query; a display unit configured to display content and modify, according to a command execution result, the displayed content; and a result reporting unit configured to report to a mobile terminal the command execution result and/or a query result. The GUI representation unit modifies, according to the command execution result and/or query result, at least one representing GUI element, to reflect the command execution result and/or query result.
