Abstract:
The present invention provides a feature parameter extraction apparatus and a speaker recognition apparatus using the same, which improve a speaker recognition rate by extracting an excitation signal in a periodic section of an input signal and using feature parameters calculated therefrom. A feature parameter extraction apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a periodic signal detection unit for detecting a periodic section of an input signal; an excitation signal extraction unit for extracting an excitation signal in the periodic section of the input signal; and a feature parameter calculation unit for calculating feature parameters characterizing the input signal, on the basis of the frequency response spectrum of the excitation signal.
