Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] Even clean sewage water contaminates a clean river once it is discharged into the river. To solve this problem, it is intended to highly purify discharged sewage water with an apparatus for highly purifying sewage water with the use of a fish road formed by a contact oxidation bank. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Movable weirs are provided in the right and left sides of both of the upstream and downstream ends of a porous contact oxidation bank, which is continuously located in the longitudinal direction of a river having discharged sewage water or a mixture containing discharged sewage water, and the movable weirs at the upstream and downstream are alternately operated. Thus, a large amount of the discharged sewage water is purified via permeation. In some cases, a plural number of the above apparatuses are aligned lengthwise or widthwise and repeatedly operated so that jamming can be prevented and excellent water qualities can be maintained. Since discharged sewage water is purified with this apparatus by taking advantage of the natural energy, no running cost is required for treating the water. Furthermore, the sludge formed as the by-product of the water treatment is processed in the natural ecological cycle and discharged oil and slime can be also purified, which contributes to the improvement in the taste of fishes and shellfishes.
