Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus for image processing. The apparatus comprises: a first physical computing unit for receiving a plurality of first analogue signals output by an image sensor, and carrying out a convolution operation on the plurality of first analogue signals, so as to obtain second analogue signals, wherein the plurality of first analogue signals correspond to a plurality of pieces of pixel data of an image to be identified on a one-to-one basis. The first physical computing unit is composed of at least one multiplying circuit array and at least one subtracting circuit, wherein the at least one multiplying circuit array corresponds to the at least one subtracting circuit on a one-to-one basis, and multiplying circuits in each multiplying circuit array are composed of differential pair transistors. Each multiplying circuit array performs the convolution operation on the plurality of first analogue signals by means of the plurality of multiplying circuits and the corresponding subtracting circuits, wherein differential-mode input voltages of a plurality of differential pair transistors included in each multiplying circuit array are taken as convolution kernels for the multiplying circuit array to perform convolution operation, and the convolution kernels of the at least one multiplying circuit array differs from one another.
