Abstract:
This invention relates to an intake/exhaust apparatus incorporated in an engine chamber of industrial equipment to introduce a sufficient quantity of air to the engine chamber. This apparatus produces less noise, and it has good appearance. A silencer duct (11) communicating with a tail pipe output (23) of an exhaust muffler (21) of the engine is fitted below an exhaust port (5) disposed in an upper board (1) of the engine chamber. An intake port (4) and the exhaust port (5) are disposed in the upper board (1) near side doors (2a, 2b) of the engine chamber. Near this intake port, the upper board (1) is provided with a partition (60) with a sound absorbing material, and the partition is spaced apart from a lower board (6) of the engine chamber. Near the exhaust port, the upper board (1) is provided with a hollow box type partition (70) with a sound absorbing material, and this partition is spaced apart from the lower board (6) of the engine chamber.
